1.Family walks.
Manigod has many family walks: from 0 to 350m in height difference, from 45min to 2h walk, you will find the ideal walk for your family! Below, a small overview to give you the desire to discover our landscapes on foot.
Itinerary of the houses in the woods :
Loop | 140 vertical drops + | Duration 1h15 | Distance 2,7km
An easy, pleasant, shady path to take with the family to discover the spruce forests and the Beauregard plateau. The walk takes place mainly in the undergrowth, near the Marc Veyrat Foundation.
Departure : Manigod, Col de la Croix-Fry.
Access to the start : From the village of Manigod (or La Clusaz), go to the Col de la Croix-Fry. Access possible by shuttle bus in season.
Route : From the Col de la Croix-Fry, take the direction of Les Maisons des Bois. At the Sous les Rosières crossroads, turn left towards Les Maisons des Bois via Vérosset. After 400m, in Vérosset, turn right. Near the buildings, turn left and follow the signs for Les Maisons des Bois. At the next intersection, turn right, still following the same direction. At Maison des Bois (north), return to the Col de la Croix Fry via Maisons des Bois (south) and Les Rosières.

2. Bathing in our swimming pool in the middle of the mountain pastures
The Manigod swimming pool is located at the Col de Merdassier. It is an open-air swimming pool, in the middle of the mountain pastures, heated, with a large pool and a paddling pool for the little ones.
Swimming and aquagym lessons are also provided by the swimming instructor (MNS) outside the opening hours of the pool. A card for 10 lessons for children/adults is also available with a swimming certificate.
Admission to the pool is €3 for adults, €2 for children under 12 and free for children under 5. Admission is free on presentation of the resident card or the Merdassier pool card.
3. Animation
Every week, discover the weekly program with all the activities offered by the Tourist Office. Whether it's a sports tournament, a gourmet hike, a playful activity or a concert, the entertainment programme will satisfy both young and old.
4. Fun trail in the forest
With family or friends, from the hillside reservoir of the Col de Merdassier, discover nature! The Manigod Tourist Office offers an animated walk with breathtaking views through the forest.
Accessible to families with young children, this free walk in the direction of the Tête de Cabeau will offer you beautiful moments of nature.
Enjoy it from mid-June to mid-September.
