Every summer, the mountain pastures of Manigod come alive with traditional activity once again. Cows, farmers, and herders take over the high-altitude pastures to keep ancestral know-how alive in the heart of the Aravis.
Beyond their agricultural role, alpine pastures help maintain open landscapes, preserve biodiversity, and uphold the valley's mountain identity. Visitors can explore several pastures accessible on foot and meet the producers who craft the famous farmhouse Reblochon (AOP) and other local specialties.
Alpine pastures are working environments, but also exceptional places to discover and understand the connections between agriculture, landscape, and heritage.
