Presentation
Nestled in the heart of the Aravis Massif, Manigod is a 35-minute drive from Annecy.
It is an authentic, friendly, family-oriented resort village, with its various areas stretching from the valley floor up to the high mountain pastures.
Manigod is committed to environmentally friendly tourism. Amidst alpine pastures, forests, sensitive natural areas, and Natura 2000 sites, preserving the landscape, biodiversity, and agricultural activities is a top priority for the region.
A land steeped in tradition, Manigod is also renowned for its religious heritage, chapels, well-preserved hamlets, and the famous *paret*—a small, traditional sliding device that has become the village's emblem.
In both summer and winter, Manigod offers a wide range of outdoor activities: hiking, mountain biking, trail running, heritage tours, swimming, alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and even night skiing.
In winter, this charming destination is the perfect place to discover skiing with family or friends! You’ll find 25 km of marked slopes, as well as a connection to the La Clusaz ski area.

Manigod is unique in that it is made up of three distinct areas:
