Nature trail in the forest
Presentation
The Manigod fun trail
A free, self-guided nature trail through the forest
Manigod is a real playground for families.
Set off to explore nature from the Col de Merdassier reservoir!
Throughout the summer, you’ll find nature-themed games and workshops to enjoy along a signposted trail.
Numerous workshops are organised from mid-July to mid-September by the Manigod Tourist Office, offering challenges for young and old alike and a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The workshops on this trail – which test dexterity, speed, coordination and balance – help develop children’s physical skills, whilst also providing an opportunity to spend an afternoon as a family in the heart of nature and recharge your batteries.
Suitable for families with young children, this free trail towards the Tête de Cabeau offers breathtaking panoramic views.
Relaxation activities: unwind in the deckchairs and hammocks, sketch the Manigod valley, take a souvenir photo, stop for lunch at the picnic tables, or have a go at playing music.
Agility activities: play hide-and-seek and tag, have a go on the swings, build dens, walk across a slackline, play hopscotch and reach the summit as quickly as possible.
Sports activities: climb the rope, hang from the rings, walk across the rope as if you were on a bridge, crawl under the wire without touching it, ‘commando’ style.
Puzzle workshops: play the Game of the Goose with your family, solve puzzles, count the number of anthills, and find your way out of the maze unscathed.
