It is possible to visit Manigod without a car!
Choosing public transport helps reduce the carbon footprint of your stay in the mountains. Manigod encourages the use of public transport through a network of free shuttle buses linking the Aravis resorts and the main areas of the town. What’s more, getting to Manigod without a car is easy, and everything is within walking distance once you arrive. We invite you to enjoy our magnificent scenery as you make your way up the Col de la Croix Fry.
From Annecy railway station, take the Annecy–Thônes–La Clusaz regional line, then the local services to Manigod.Free shuttle buses in Manigod
Reach Manigod by bus during the high season using the regular services and Aravis shuttle buses. From Thônes, La Clusaz or Le Grand-Bornand, take advantage of a convenient, free and accessible transport network to reach the village, the Col de la Croix Fry and the Col de Merdassier.Thanks to a partnership between the Communauté de Communes des Vallées de Thônes (CCVT), the Aravis resorts and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, you can enjoy free access to the Aravis Bus network.
Timetables for routes and shuttles
To get to the village and/or the resort of Manigod, take the “M” Thônes-Merdassier route, which is open to all and accessible to people with reduced mobility*.Arrive right in the heart of the resort and, from the Col de la Croix Fry stop, shops, restaurants, accommodation, activities, the Tourist Office and hiking trails are just a few minutes’ walk away. All the resort’s facilities are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Getting around the Aravis without a car
The Aravis Bus network provides easy access to Manigod, La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and the Thônes valley. In both summer and winter, the shuttle buses make it easy to reach shops, accommodation, activities and hiking trails.
