This winter, Cathy offers you tailor-made outings, at your own pace in private engagement, with family or friends! It also offers the Petits Trappeurs outing for children
Discover the charms of snow shoe outings either with the family or in groups. The fairy tale land of mother nature wrapped in snow, traditional habitat, the customs of our valleys, animal tracks, the forest will surrender its secrets to us.
The mountain, my freedom area. After agricultural studies, as well as summers at the pasture of Paccaly, I obtained the
Mountain State Accompaniment Certifcate. This winter will be my 27 season at the ESF de Manigod. It is always with the
same pleasure that I continue to share and transmit my passion for nature and the mountains during my hikes. My favorite
offce, the "Follières", a place I will never get tired of, where the magic takes place over the seasons.
Let yourself be embarked with this nature-loving companion and open your eyes to the nature that surrounds you for half a day or a day!
For the snowshoeing activity, provide suitable clothing (warm jacket, gloves, hat, mountain or après-ski type shoes), a backpack, a drink, snowshoes and poles.

Trappers Trips
With soft steps, we look for the traces of animals hidden in the forest, then manufacture an igloo, make a fire in the snow to warm up, in short we go on an adventure in winter mode!
This service is a great idea for an unusual birthday with friends, or simply to spend an afternoon like no other. Sliding down snowy slopes, treasure hunts in the footsteps of our mountain animals, treasure hunt, followed by a snack, the day is complete!
At the end of the day, each child is given a small booklet on animal tracks. They then understand the mountain and its secrets after a great exploration.
When can we register our children for this outing?
We invite you to book the service only during school holidays and by reservation every Wednesday afternoon.
Where to register?
Registrations are made at the ESF, located at the Col de la Croix Fry, but also at the Col de Merdassier.
(7-12 years;15 children max).
