Tourism Quality Brand

Presentation

Starting September 1, 2024, the “Qualité Tourisme” label will be phased out, with the program set to end on December 31, 2026.
The “Destination d'excellence” label, created on May 1, is intended to replace “Qualité Tourisme.” It incorporates the core elements of the “Qualité Tourisme” program, particularly the guarantee of a high standard of hospitality, and raises the bar in terms of environmental responsibility and providing information to people with disabilities regarding the accessibility of the services offered. It is managed by Atout France.
This reform aims to raise the profile of the labels and make them more attractive to tourists and certified establishments.

“Created in 2024, the Destination d’Excellence label is the only government-awarded label granted to tourism professionals committed to offering an exemplary quality of experience to their visitors, while enhancing the eco-responsibility of their service offerings. Quality, eco-responsibility, inclusivity, and professionalism are at the heart of the values embodied by the label.”

The Destination d’Excellence label has replaced the Qualité Tourisme label since May 2024.
Tourist Offices are implementing this label and working to continuously improve the quality of the services they provide.
To ensure compliance with this initiative, audits are carried out to verify that the standards are being applied to every service provided by each tourist organisation.
The Manigod Tourist Office renewed its Qualité Tourisme certification in 2022 and is preparing to join the Destination d’Excellence scheme in 2026.

The Manigod Tourist Office is committed to maintaining the quality of the following services:
A personalised welcome, provided by competent staff who are attentive to the customer’s needs.
The provision of clear and accurate information.
A comfortable and welcoming information centre.
Particular attention paid to customer feedback and the handling of complaints.
The continuous improvement of services and facilities provided by the Manigod Tourist Office.
Raising customer awareness of the challenges of sustainable tourism

The organisation is also committed to meeting the many other criteria of the Destination d’Excellence standard through its services: reception, promotion, events and management.
The Manigod Tourist Office was audited in 2021 and 2022, following which we renewed the certification. The Tourist Office will undergo its next audit in 2026.

The Destination d’Excellence label brings together the quality initiatives of numerous tourism stakeholders in France under a single banner. It serves as a mark of trust and quality of service between professionals and visitors.
