Behind "Saveurs et Terroir" is Thierry Sauvanet
Artisan of Flavors
Born in Brive-la-Gaillarde on May 13, 1969, Thierry Sauvanet began his culinary career at the age of 14 in Corrèze. After earning a vocational certificate (CAP) and a master's degree, he worked at the "Gouffre de Padirac" and in Méribel before settling in Haute-Savoie. He was head chef at "Ramoneur savoyard" in Annecy, winning several cooking competitions and appearing in a special edition of Gault et Millau. After eight years at the brasserie "Le Regann" and the restaurant "Le Vieux Pont" in Thônes, he managed the inn "La Gloriette," which received a toque from Gault et Millau. He also appeared on "France Bleu" and on shows such as "Carnet de Julie." A turning point in his life led him to open a regional produce store in Manigod (Haute-Savoie) and to specialize as a mountain caterer and private chef in chalets in the Aravis massif. Thierry has organized seminars for celebrities such as Mr. Soprano, politicians, top athletes, and business leaders. The regional produce store, based in Manigod
Our delicatessen is based in Manigod, offering local products. The charcuterie comes from Villaz, carefully selected by Maxence Baud. The cheeses are tastefully selected from local farms, including Vincent Fillon's farm in Manigod. You can also choose from a wide selection of alcoholic beverages (beers, wines, and liqueurs). We also offer a convenience store with dry goods.
