Presentation
Come and experience the 4th edition of Auto Rétro Prestige, a static gathering of vintage cars organized by enthusiasts at the Col de la Croix Fry.
François and Samuel Josserand—father and son, and both enthusiasts of vehicles in general, especially vintage ones—are deeply committed to an event now entering its fourth year.
Sunday, August 16th, marks the fourth edition of the "Auto Rétro Prestige Manigod," held at the Col de la Croix Fry from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event is organized by the "Amicale Jeep La Croix Fry" association, a group passionate not only about Jeeps and military vehicles but also about classic mechanics and collector cars.
Static displays will feature cars over 30 years old (all makes) and "youngtimers" (cars that defined the 1990s), as well as prestige vehicles—such as Porsches and Mustangs—all showcased throughout the day in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
François will arrive in his Fiat 127—the very same car he owned in 1977. Although he sold it back then, his son tracked it down and fully restored it for him. He’ll be driving his first car to the event, ready to share his story in person. Samuel will be there with his 1983 Renault 5 Turbo 2—also restored by him—featuring a mid-rear engine that delivers 160 hp and a sound that turns heads; the car even bears the signature of the legendary, world-renowned rally driver Jean Ragnotti.
More than just a car show, this is a gathering for enthusiasts—and even if you aren't one yourself, there is always something to learn from such passionate people.
Admission is free; there will be a refreshment stand on-site, as well as a parts swap meet.
