On Wednesday 12 August, let yourself be swept away by the magic of a timeless evening at the summit of Cabeau.
The evening kicks off at 8 PM in a stunning mountain setting.
For this special occasion, the chairlift will remain open, taking you up for a unique high-altitude experience.
As twilight fades into a starry night, enjoy a range of evening entertainment and activities—including Mountain Kart runs and plenty of other surprises throughout the night.
Organized in partnership with Labellemontagne, this event promises a spectacular, fun-filled time for the whole family.
On the program:
Harp concert (free)
Mesmerizing LED show by the Firelight troupe (free)
Food provided by Le Vinyle (classic or Savoyard-style burgers available for purchase)
Refreshments served by the Tourist Office, featuring magical cocktail specials (available for purchase)
Blending thrills, wonder, and shared moments, the Cabeau "Magical Evening" invites you to experience the mountains in a whole new way—immersed in a magical atmosphere where the night reveals its full beauty.
Free access on foot (5–10 minute walk) from the hillside reservoir or the "Le Refuge du Col de Merdassier" residence.
Distance: 800m (please note: it is an 800m uphill walk—it’s steep here!)
Alternatively, access via the Cabeau chairlift (Col de la Croix Fry).
Please bring cash for the food and drink stalls.
