String quartet concert 441

Presentation
Don't miss the Quatuor 441 concert in the church of Manigod on Friday, July 17th at 6pm.
The 441 Quartet is a string quartet founded in Paris in 2008 by musicians eager to explore the great chamber music repertoire.
These four musicians began studying their instruments at a very young age and have never stopped playing music in various ensembles. As a quartet, they meet regularly to rehearse their chosen works and prepare for upcoming concerts.
They perform most often in Paris, in private homes but also in schools, town halls, retirement homes, churches, libraries, community centers, on barges, in bandstands, at the Montmartre Arena, and more.
They particularly appreciate the Romantic period (Beethoven, Dvořák, Borodin, Schubert) and also enjoy playing arrangements of film scores and songs.
This summer, you can hear Vincent Charbonnieras and Ruth Nelson on violins, Juliette Carradec on viola, and Nicolas Boucher on cello. The musicians will present a rich and varied program featuring three works from the string quartet repertoire: Anton Webern's Langsamer Satz, the first movement of Alexander Borodin's Quartet No. 1, and Joseph Haydn's Quartet Op. 77 No. 1.
Concert duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
Program:
Webern - Langsamer Satz
Haydn - Quartet Op. 77 No. 1
Borodin - Quartet No. 1, 1st movement
Free admission
