Nature Adventure. A special 3-day children's event from 29 to 31 July!
Programme :

Tuesday 29 July: Mountain explorer

Morning: discover the local flora and fauna (meeting point at the Col de Merdassier)

- Young naturalist with Cathy Cohendet, meeting at 9am at the Col de Merdassier
Moulding of footprints (fox, badger, chamois, etc.)
Observation of fauna and flora using magnifying glasses and nets
Discovery of the infinitely small

- Tree climbing: 3 sessions (10am - 11.45am / 2.30pm - 4.15pm / 4.30pm - 6.15pm) Meeting point at the Col de Merdassier
Discover trees through climbing, a sensory, fun and sensitive approach.

Lunch break, independent picnic (each child brings their own picnic). Packed lunches available for purchase.

Afternoon: nature mission (Meet at 2pm in the Merdassier shopping centre)

- Polinator game: understanding the role of the bee
Workshop around an old Savoyard beehive, discovering beekeepers' tools and the way bees live. Make honey candles and lip balms.

Evening: Storytelling/Myths and legends from the mountains ‘la Montagne à des oreilles’, a family show featuring stories and music from the mountains + grilled marshmallows (6pm meeting point at the Col de Merdassier).



Wednesday 30 July: Apprentice adventurers

Morning: Become the adventurer of a clean mountain (RDV at 9am in the Merdassier shopping centre)

- Workshop to make and decorate walking sticks. Give life to your future hiking partner so that the mountains no longer hold any secrets for you.

Lunch break, self-catered picnic.

Afternoon: ManigodLanta with Cathy Cohendet (RDV at 2pm in front of the Tourist Office at the Col de la Croix Fry)



Thursday 31 July: Guardian of nature

Morning: meet the donkeys who protect nature (RDV at 9am at the Col de Merdassier)

- Meet and walk with Dominique Beaufaron's donkeys.

Lunch break, participatory lunch: each child brings something to share. Giant picnic.

Afternoon: Explorers' Ceremony (Meet at 2pm in the Merdassier shopping centre)

- Presentation of mountain explorer diplomas
- Quizzes
