Presentation
The Manigod Tourist Office invites you to discover the organ of its Saint-Pierre Church!
Exceptional to the eye, the Manigod organ is equally exceptional to the ear.
Its strong personality and secret sonorities are unrivalled in the region. A number of concerts will be held in the church this summer featuring our magnificent organ, accompanied by other instruments:
August 7: Organ and Cello concert by
William Fielding and Vlad Câmpean
William Fielding, born in the north-west of England and a former chorister at Blackburn Cathedral in his hometown, is currently studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris.
In 2020, after two years of study at the Royal College of Music, London, William decided to immerse himself in the French organ tradition by studying with Michel Bouvard, then Yoann Tardivel, at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse, where he also collaborated with Mark Opstad and the Toulouse Maîtrise. William was awarded the “Prix François Vidal” for his last recital in Toulouse, before being accepted into the class of Olivier Latry and Thomas Ospital.
