Presentation

The ‘Les Gaz'Ailes’ paragliding club in Lac is organising the 2026 edition of the ‘Bornes to Fly’ event, the World Cup for paragliding and hiking, which will take place from 7 to 10 May 2026.
The Bornes To Fly is a friendly race combining paragliding and walking, in the tradition of the famous X-Alps.
The 100 pilots, representing 16 different nationalities, will tackle a three-day course featuring two overnight stops in the great outdoors. The 200-kilometre route will be selected by the Race Director to suit the weather conditions. To be considered as having passed, checkpoints must be crossed, either in flight or on foot, within a radius defined during the briefing. The list of checkpoints to be crossed will be provided during the pilots’ briefing by the Race Director.
