Presentation

Manigod Tourist Office invites you to discover the discipline of aquabike, while enjoying an alpine scenery around you.
Two sessions per week will be offered in our open pool located at the Col de Merdassier, from 16 years old.
From the 1st of July, enjoy aquabike lessons!
- Every Tuesdy at 9.am
- Every Friday at 7pm
Price: 12€.

We can estimate that half an hour of aquabiking is equivalent to an hour of "normal" pedaling! So what are you waiting for to jump in?
And what could be better than learning this sport in the great outdoors? Grégory, our lifeguard will give you a specialized course. Maximum results for minimum effort!

What is aquabiking?
Aquabiking is quite simply a variation of aqua aerobics practiced with a "bike" (exercise bike, like you find in any gym) in the water. And that changes everything. The cardiovascular virtues are still there, but the resistance of the water results in a different effort, a massage with multiple virtues: the heart beats 10% slower than in air and fat is burned as a priority. Add to this the constant massage due to the movement of the water, and we obtain a destructive action against cellulite and its dreaded visible part, the orange peel.
