From the object necessary for travel at the time, the snowshoe has become an object of leisure. It is now a practice in its own right, complementary to other board sports.
Snowshoeing is the ideal way to discover the mountains: easy, inexpensive, this activity offers you a wide range of possibilities. From a stroll through the forest in powder snow to climbing prestigious peaks, embark on an outing of half a day or more. Go to meet mountain life and experience magical moments of discovery and calm.
The Plateau de Beauregard is undeniably one of the most beautiful sites in Haute-Savoie for the practice of this relaxing activity.
The Tourist Office has marked out 6 snow shoe discovery routes, for all levels to escape alone or with others.
Two departures are possible:
- From the Col de la Croix Fry
- From the Merdassier pass
You will find an explanatory panel with the 6 routes listed (3 in Croix Fry and 3 in Merdassier)
A card is on sale at the village Tourist Office, but also at the Croix Fry / Merdassier information points.
